We Walk Our Talk
Most law firms that advertise to motorcycle riders have never been on one. They put a bike in their logo, run ads during Bike Week, and handle your case like every other transaction on their desk.
Road Justice was built differently.
About Jared Hagood
On January 30, 2025, Jared Hagood went down.
Bilateral femur fractures. A shattered pelvis. Fractured cervical and lumbar vertebrae. Four surgeries and counting. Months in a hospital, then months in rehabilitation, relearning how to walk.
He knows what it feels like to lie on the pavement and not know if you’re going to be okay. He knows the ambulance ride, the ICU, the financial pressure that doesn’t pause because you can’t. He knows the physical battle — and the legal one that starts while you’re still in a hospital bed.
He’s lived both sides of a motorcycle crash. Nobody else can say that.
Biker First. Lawyer Second.
That’s not a tagline. It’s the order of operations that determines everything — how cases are fought, how riders are treated, how seriously this work gets taken.
Before the crash, and long before Road Justice existed in its current form, Jared was already showing up:
- At the Texas Capitol, advocating for laws that protect riders.
- Across the state — multiple times a year — meeting with riders and groups, answering questions, explaining rights, and cutting through the legal language that nobody has time to decode on the side of the road.
And taking calls on cases outside his specialty because a rider needed answers, and riders weren’t going to turn them away.
That’s what we mean when we say we walk our talk.
